НЕДАРОМ ПОМНИТ ВСЯ ЕВРОПА…

Этой зимой Европа замерзала от небывалых морозов. В одной из информационных программ телевидения намекнули, что стихия устроила европейцам настоящий Сталинград. На экране всплыл замороженный итальянский город Болонья и заиндевелая табличка с наименованием улицы «Stalingrad». Возникает историческая параллель от Сталинградского котла с замерзающими фашистами к нынешним бедствиям Европы. Сталинград 1942 года для Европы то же, что Бородино для России 1812 года. Перефразируя известное стихотворение М.Ю.Лермонтова так и хочется сказать: «Недаром помнит вся Европа про грозный Сталинград». Да что там Европа? Скорее, весь мир.
В памяти народов гордое звучание «Сталинград» ассоциируется с коренным переломом в ходе Второй мировой войны, освобождением Европы от фашистского порабощения. Весь мир чтит память о героическом подвиге защитников Сталинграда. Во многих странах именем города-героя названы улицы и площади. Только во Франции в 74 городах есть улицы с этим названием, а в Париже одна из центральных площадей носит имя Сталинграда. Даже в маленькой Бельгии увековечено имя легендарного города-героя.
В Минске после Великой Отечественной войны также была увековечена память защитников Сталинграда. Название «Сталинградская» носила улица (ныне «Волгоградская»), на площади Победы красовалась надпись на мраморной плите «город-герой Сталинград». Все это было ликвидировано в 1961 году во время хрущевской волюнтаристской кампании по «преодолению культа личности И.В.Сталина». Тогда же был снесен и памятник Верховному главнокомандующему И.В.Сталину на Октябрьской площади.
К сожалению, на сегодня в столице Республики Беларусь память о героической обороне Сталинграда не увековечена. Патриотические силы столицы неоднократно поднимали перед городскими властями вопрос об увековечении памяти защитников Сталинграда в Минске, но каждый раз наталкивались на стену непонимания. Отношение чиновников с трудом укладывается в голове, если учесть историческую значимость Сталинградской эпопеи, изменившей ход Великой Отечественной войны и всей Второй мировой войны, а также достойный вклад в оборону города-героя Сталинграда граждан Беларуси и ее столицы. Высокого звания «город-герой» еще в ходе войны был удостоен Сталинград, а не Волгоград. Многие годы мы слушали по радио и читали в газетах приказы Верховного главнокомандующего, а впоследствии Министра обороны СССР о производстве артиллерийских салютов в городах-героях, среди которых назывался и Сталинград, в честь освобождения городов или в дни праздников. Нельзя же искажать историческую истину, заниматься фальсификацией! Ведь никому не придет на ум переименовать, например, Сталинградскую битву в Волгоградскую или город-герой Ленинград в город-герой Санкт-Петербург.
Многие минчане участвовали в Сталинградской битве. Среди них ныне здравствующие ветераны Великой Отечественной войны кавалеры многих боевых орденов летчик генерал-майор Александр Сергеевич Шацкий (в Сталинградском небе сбил 5 вражеских самолетов), танкист генерал-майор Александр Федорович Фень (уничтожил в Сталинграде 3 танка и 2 орудия фашистов). Отличились в Сталинградской битве недавно ушедшие из жизни бывший Председатель Совета Министров БССР и второй секретарь ЦК КПБ Александр Никифорович Аксенов, бывший член Президиума Верховного Совета БССР, член Военного совета – начальник политического управления Белорусского военного округа генерал-полковник Александр Васильевич Дебалюк и многие другие.
В связи с 70-летием героической обороны Сталинграда, исполняющимся в текущем году, появляется благоприятная возможность исправить досадную несправедливость и осуществить достойные меры по увековеченью подвига защитников Сталинграда в столице Республики Беларусь. Это наш долг перед памятью тех, кто не щадил своей жизни, грудью став на защиту свободы и независимости Советской Родины на берегах великой русской реки.
В №7 нашей газеты опубликовано обращение Военно-научного общества при Центральном доме офицеров к депутатам Минского городского Совета депутатов об увековечивании подвига защитников Сталинграда в городе-герое Минске.
Одновременно с ВНО инициативу об увековечении подвига защитников Сталинграда в столице Беларуси, являющейся побратимом города-героя на Волге, выступила Центральная районная организация КПБ города Минска. Пленум Минского горкома партии поддержал это начинание. Во исполнение решения горкома районные комитеты КПБ направили текст принятого обращения персонально депутатам Минского горсовета от своих районов.
Отвечая на просьбы ветеранов, других патриотов поставить перед Минским городским Советом депутатов вопрос об увековечении памяти героических участников Сталинградской битвы в столице Республики Беларусь, к депутатам Минского горсовета и властями города с аналогичным предложением обратились Минский городской совет общественного объединения «Белорусский союз офицеров», организация идеологических работников ОО БСО.
Обобщенно предложения по увековечению памяти участников героического Сталинградского сражения состоят в следующем:
– Присвоить одной из новых улиц (площадей) столицы наименование
«Героев Сталинграда» (или «Защитников Сталинграда»).
– Возвратить улице «Волгоградская» ее первоначальное название
«Сталинградская».
– Заменить на площади Победы надпись на плите «город-герой Волгоград» на надпись «город-герой Сталинград ».
Поддержка народными избранниками и властями города внесенных предложений способствовала бы реализации благородных намерений сохранить для будущих поколений величие подвига защитников Сталинграда, стимулировать патриотическое воспитание граждан и прежде всего молодежи, послужило бы умножению славных боевых традиций старших поколений защитников Отечества и сохранению исторической памяти народа.
